On November 11th 2024, to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Liberation International Year, Teatri veror në DPA will held the screening of a movie entitled “The Return of the Dead Army”, directed by Dhimiter Anagnosti (1989).

Based on the namesake novel written by Ismail Kadar,  the plot tells the story of a general and an Italian priest arrive in Albania to repatriate the remains of soldiers killed during the war. The general, along with the priest commissioned by Beti, also seeks the remains of her deceased husband, a renowned colonel. They uncover that he had raped a young girl and was killed by her mother, an old woman named Nice.
