A meeting to talk about “The Trial” by Franz Kafka on September 24, 18:30 at the premises of the DUA Center.

The book tells the story of Joseph K., an ordinary man who is suddenly arrested one morning and accused of a crime that is never explained to him.

As Joseph tries to make sense of the charges and defend himself, he is faced with an absurd, bureaucratic and unreasonable court system.

The novel deals with themes such as the absurdity and unlimited power of institutions, reflecting on the feeling of powerlessness and meaninglessness that we sometimes experience in the face of authority.
